At Modern Art Oxford they were exhibiting Andy Warhol and William Morris' work combined, so me and Joe decided to go down there and have a look at the work.
The exhibition was really interesting, because it was strange to see someone as talented as William Morris being compared to Andy Warhol. I really loved all of the work on show by Morris. His illustrative skills are unbelievable and so precise. I really loved all the inscriptive work that he's produced, as you can see by all the photos of the inscriptions. I think that the fine detail of his inscriptions is really inspiring and I definitely want to have a go at producing some hand rendered typography influenced by William Morris.
