Stupidly I forgot to take development screen shots when creating my website!
I decided to create my site through Cargo Collective, as they're quite easy to use and have lots of templates etc so that you don't have to worry too much about creating a working site from scratch.
I added all of the work that I wanted on the website as separate pages for ease of use. For the homepage I thought that it would be similar to a blog in a way, with all of the work up on the homepage as clickable thumbnails.
Some mockups I created of my website for my PPP presentation also show the design of the site:
I changed quite a lot of the set template to make it my own. For example altering the html and css so that I could have highlight colours that coincide with my branding colours, or to add columns to text pages like on the Contact page!
I'm really happy with the layout of my website as it took days of constant work to create something so easy to use and so in sync with my current branding styles. I even worked out how to buy my own URL and direct it to cargo which I think is really important in making myself seem professional!
